还记得小时候，我最喜欢跟外婆聊天了

她都会很有耐心地跟我们解说很多有关人生的道理、佛理和礼仪

她送给我的那本“因果经”，我可是一字不漏的看完

而且当中的意义可是让我在人生的成长过程中领悟不少

还记得小时候，我会坐在电视机前面，嘴里含着饭

吃了好几个小时，看了好几部香港连续剧，我那碗饭还是会完整不动

不晓得那是因为我无法分心地边看电视边吃饭

还是我根本就懒得嚼那食物

我曾经想过，如果我的腹部可以加个拉链直接把食物放进去，那该多好~

对地，我从小就是那么的懒而且诡计多端。。没办法，那是天生的吧

但我外婆从来不会对我的怪癖而破口大骂，反而会想尽办法来哄我吃饭

有一次她说到，“来，妳跟姐姐比赛看谁可以吃得比较快，我来喂妳们”

我就会莫名其妙地吃很多而且很快

再长大一点外婆就不再喂我了

那时她就会说，妳们五个（还有三位表姐）比赛看谁吃得快就会有奖赏

因为我每次都是吃最慢，所以我的奖赏往往都是最少

也还好那时在乡下里，两毛钱还是可以买到最便宜的冰淇淋~ 呀呼~~~

到了中学，外婆就会对我说，“妳也该是时候跟我学学如何煮东西吧”

“要不然以后当我不在的时候，就没人会煮妳爱吃的食物咯”

但调皮的我总会回答说

“外婆妳会长命百岁，永远煮我爱吃的食物到我嫁人的那天”

虽然我每次都口口声声说不想学，其实我都会帮忙她，听她说和看她煮

过不久后，外婆煮的东西也渐渐变得无味/太咸，原因是她已失去了味觉

再过不久，她也就病得很重。。而且也一天比一天瘦

到了三年前，我其实也没真正煮过一顿饭给她吃

最多也只是帮忙姐姐准备和学弄一些她爱吃的Jelly给她

当时我把最后一口Jelly喂到她嘴里后，我就说到

“外婆啊，我明天就会去美国打暑假工，要去三个月半”

“等我回来后我再弄一些妳爱的Jelly给妳吃”

“所以妳一定要活得健健康康等我回来噢~”

当时坐在病床上的外婆就对我微微笑和点点头表示好

过了两周后，外婆人已不在，我也不懂

直到三个月半后，他们才让我知道说，外婆已经离我们而去。。。

当时的我，简直是大崩溃。。但我知道，这一切我后悔也来不及。。

我也永远都没办法煮一顿好吃的来报答她。。。

以下的短片就是告诉我们

就算你是说不出口（我也真的说不出口。。。）

那你也应该把握现在地去表达你对他们的关心与爱

例如，有空时就陪他们去吃个早餐，也或者是大家坐下来喝杯茶聊聊天

其实我发现，爸妈都会感到寂寞

很想跟我们儿女分享他们的故事，也或者是诉苦

很忙碌的你，也应该停下脚步来看看你们的爸妈

他们的头发毕竟也慢慢地从黑发变白发了

你有察觉到吗？

那天，我爸突然跟我聊到Murphy's Law

“Anything that can go wrong will go wrong”

“Anything that can happen will happen”

当中的谈话就让我察觉到

父母永远都比我们自己还更担心我们自己的安危

上了中学后

我发现爸妈给我很多的自由，让我自由发挥

我所做的决定，他们也从来不过问太多

真没想到

。。。。原来他们还是会担心我的安危呢。。。。

Itchy....ITCHY!!!!

Very itchy AAaahHHH!!! Damn stupid itchy rashes!!!

Yesterday, i suddenly have this skin allergy problem.. Having itchy rashes all over from my waist level till my neck, as well as my ears! As what quoted by Dr. Martin, it has to be cured IMMEDIATELY before it goes up to my face and causing me short of breath.. BUT as what we've expected from the general hospital, they just let me WAIT without giving me any immediate and proper injections! Damn it!!

THANKS to Dr. Martin, i finally got my injections much faster than it was supposed to. Just a few minutes after the injections, ALL the rashes are GONE! If only you guys could work more efficiently, i won't have suffered so long by waiting 3 hours you know!

When i thought everything would be fine after that...but unfortunately...it is NOT... This morning when i woke up, the stupid itchy rashes are back AGAIN! This time, the rashes are projecting downwards from my waist level...not that bad still... After i had the medicine, it stops spreading, finally.. Phew~

Since i didn't eat anything (except a glass of Milo) for breakfast, i started to feel hungry before my lunch is packed. Therefore, i just grabbed anything that's reachable from me in the room...which is the Munchy's chocolate hazelnut wafer cubes~ Few minutes after eating that, i can feel that my body is itchy-ing again.......not again.....

Now, both my arms and hands are full of rashes...a bit on my back and my shoulder...over my waist and my buttock....and a bit on the my thighs and my legs... Come on, STOP spreading PLEASE!!! AAaaarrRRGGGGggggghhHH!!!!!

Thinking back...

...yesterday after eating a piece of biscuit (containing peanuts), my body suddenly feel itchy...

...after that, we went to Kajang and had satay (with the peanuts-like gravy) for dinner, then the rashes are getting worse...

...then today after eating the hazelnut biscuits, i realised, the rashes are getting worse AGAIN!!!

Don't tell me that i'm seriously allergy to nuts man!! I LOVE nuts!! How can i SUDDENLY allergic to nuts!?!? This is so unfair!! No way!! AAaarrGGgggHHHH!!! ITCHY like HELL!!! (>.<)

难道真的是我们前世欠了你吗？

向来对我们漠不关心我就算了

每当遇到困难就对我们狮子开大口我也算了

每次要我们帮忙时脾气也不可以好一点

难道你就连那一点点的礼貌也不懂吗？

小时候外婆就很常对我们说

如果你要别人尊敬你那你就要先懂得如何尊敬别人

这点礼仪我们每个人都懂就只有你不懂

脾气有限的我也就更不可能每次都吞下那口气来迁就你

每次都不觉得那是你自己的错不懂得体谅又不肯聆听

这就是为什么你那么多年来都不会进步的原因之一

这也是为什么我们那么多年来都不能好好地沟通

如果我可以有三个愿望的话我的其中一个愿望就是

希望你可以停下脚步来看看身边真正关心你的家人

然后再反省一下你多年来的态度行为

就是因为你是亲人

要忍的我还是会忍

要讲的我还是会讲

要帮的我还是会帮

但我还是很期待你会有‘醒’过来的那天

好让大家都可以和睦相处

东方vs西方

最近　朋友突然唤醒了我的灵感

我那之前都一直很想写有关于‘牵手’这篇文章的灵感～

我一直都有着这个概念觉得说　东方人都大部分比较保守　为啥呢？

从小　我就很少看到爸妈一起手牵手地逛街　好像是从来都没看过吧

记忆中　他们也很少会牵起我的小手

也不晓得为啥　我从小时候就对‘牵手’这东西很陌生

还记得　以前姐姐都超爱在百货公司突然牵起我的手

但我都会很迅速　很狠心地甩开她的手　哈哈！

当然　我不是故意的　只是觉得有点很不自在而已嘛～ ;p

但是去年在英国的时候　偶然中认识了这位来自广东的朋友

跟她认识也不算太久　但有一天晚上送她回家时　她却突然牵起我的手

顿时有被惊吓到　但我却没有反抗　原因也只有一个

。。。是因为　天气实在是太冷了啦。。。

当下我才领悟到　原来牵手的其中一个好处就是可以互相取暖啊～

过后我就心想　外国的情侣大部分都很常会亲密的牵手啊拥抱啊什么的

那是因为天气冷的关系　然后就慢慢成为了他们的习惯　

之后再慢慢演变成西方人的Ｃｕｌｔｕｒｅ吗？

以上的照片是我在苏格兰偷拍到的一对老夫妻

那么恩爱一起手牵手的老夫妻　在国外是很常见的

但在大马是少之又少吧　原因是因为天气太热　很容易流汗的关系吗？

我记得　在台湾的太鲁阁也曾看过一对一头白发的老夫妻恩爱地手牵手

那画面真的很感人　可惜我来不及掏出我的相机　他们就不见了～

那也是我人生第一次觉得可以爱一个人到白头偕老是件不容易的事

如果可以的话　那就真的是很幸福了～

～爱情这东西　还是一切随缘吧～

总有一天　我一定会找到一个爱我比我更爱他的另一半

与我一起白头偕老吧～ (^o^)

The story line...got no main points at all... (=.=)

If you ask me how good does Jay Chou and Lin Zhi Ling acted...

I'd dare say, i can fight better than them also. haha!

The ending part was so draggy some more...

For a few times i thought the movie is going to end but it was not!

I was lying on my bed...staring on the ceiling...

...and thinking deeply of what you were trying to consult me last night...

I know it damn well too, you're always there when i need you...

...and even sacrificing your precious time and sleeping hours...

...to talk to a wood like me...

Dunno since when, i become so ignorant and hurting you all the time...

...and worst of all, i don't even noticing that...

It is really not fair...

...not fair at all for you to care for such terrible person like me...

I was thinking...am i really born to have a heart of stone?

I never notice i am actually such a terrible person...until you told me so...

I really dunno how to care nor to love the people around me...

I really dunno why...

I know i should be very grateful

...because even if i am such a terrible person...

...people like you, my beloved families, my lovely bro and even my sir...

...are always there to concern about me...

I really should...and i really will

...learn to care and love the people around me more...

...maybe not by words...but definitely by actions...

I know myself very well

If i know of someone that really cares and loves me with their true heart

I will do the same too

But my actions could be indirectly and less obvious...

...but that's just me...

勾起了小时候不少的回忆

家里有着那Mulan VCD

我也不晓得重看了多少遍

常常还会幻想自己是木兰的角色

还会跟自己说，“男子能做之事我们女孩儿也能呀”

还记得妈妈也都会说，“妳就是我们家里的木兰啦”

听到妈妈酱子说我就超兴奋的~

***毕竟小孩就是小孩嘛***

小时候的我

也曾经想要当个为民除害的好警察

而现在的我

虽然不是迈向着要当个好警察的路

但也算是迈向着要为民服务的好工程师

再过一年

我就会在这现实的战场上打拼

虽然我相信这世界上

是有着有情有泪的朋友

但我也相信

时间会慢慢让我体会到

人类现实和残酷的一面

想要生存

那就得像木兰一样

有着坚强奋斗的心

Long Lost Friend...

She's a long lost friend of mine.

We didn't seen each other, ever since we graduated...

Just recently, she messaged me via FB, and asked me out for a drink.

Of course, I'm more than happy for that!

Tonight, we finally met up and had a drink.

However, this outing turned out to be something I did not expected...

In fact, it made me a bit depressed...as i couldn't do much but just listening...

I knew she's starting up a business real soon~

And of course, I'm so proud & happy for that!

However, by just listening to her 1st sentence, I realised she hates it so much...

I could see how much she hated this job and how depress she is now...

From the way she talks...from whatever she's trying to tell me...

...and from what i can see from her eyes...

A work that could possibly earn you lots of $$...but you didn't enjoy it...

A work that could widen your "friends" networking, but it's very unhealthy...

And most importantly, you're hating it...

But since you're so determine to continue it, there's nothing much i could do also...

Despite all the depressing things that she's trying to let go from her (and i'm glad she did)...luckily there's ONE thing that could at least cheer her up~

Hopefully your to-be lover, will be there to support you always~

I'm sure a simple smile from your loved one is the best cure of everything. :)

As an old friend, I will wish the best for you and hope for the best for you too!

流星雨~

上星期口天说

“18/11/09的凌晨3点到6点我们大家一起去看流星雨好吗？”

虽然也是半信半疑的我

毕竟也还没真正看过流星嘛

那就当然说好咯~ ^^

昨天下午刮了一场暴风雨

之后也陆陆续续一直在下雨

到了凌晨4点虽然雨是停了

但天空还是布满了云和水雾

不管了！既然大家都已决定牺牲睡眠

我们就出发到TTS湖去赏流星吧~！

到了目的地

口天和他的朋友先骑机车去探索乌黑的现场

才发现沿路上有三棵松树倒塌了

当然我们还是没有放弃！

一步一步地跨越重重难关

才抵达口天所建议的赏流星基地

先把地毯摆好

正当大家要准备坐下时

第一颗流星竟然掉落了！

很明显我就missed了那颗流星。。。听说是蓝色的。。。

好了！这次我就牢牢地往东方盯住。。脖子也开始酸了。。

噢！！！第二颗流星又一瞬间出现了！！！真的很快！！

这次这颗流星像是在燃烧中是橙色的~

还好这次给我看到了！而且也刚好够时间让我许下一个愿望~ ^^

现场的大家都一直抬头东望望西望望

尽管脖子超酸也不放弃

过后陆陆续续还有四颗流星降落

听说最大的一颗我也missed了。。。

我只能说

有缘的人就看得见

没缘的人（就像我一样）

就只能一直大喊

“哪里？哪里？？”

“边嘟？边嘟？？”

“Where is it？Where is it？？”

我还心想要多许几个愿望。。都不可以。。真不公平啊。。

我想。。。

每个人的心中都总会有一道心墙吧？

有些人的心中可能就只有那一道薄薄的隔墙（partition wall)

只要细心和耐心地聆听就能默默感受到心中的心语

但有些人的心中却有着一道像万里长城般宏伟的城墙

想要侵袭它是很难想要破解之中的谜底？那就更难了

但是。。。

如果城墙的第一道城门是打开的那还算是有一线希望吧？

我想。。。

只要有着一份坚持的心然后不顾一切地往前走

慢慢地翻越那万里之路和那一道又一道的门关

到最终那一枚金匙就自然会出现在眼前

当金匙把金门给打开时那结果又会是怎样呢？

那当然还是个谜了。。。

在翻越那一道又一道的门关时

很多问题可能是无法得到明确的解答

那其实都无所谓。。。因为。。。最重要的是可以得到一个“肯定”

一个可以肯定迈向正确方向的强心针。。。？

无聊篇

最近真的开始觉得自己很烦人

即时课业上已经够烦了

但还是会很无聊地去多想很多无畏的事情

我是真的有那么闲吗？！

之前都只会觉得别人很烦很讨厌的我

现在。。反而开始讨厌自己了

向来爱装得一副很坚强的我

都只是为了面子和自尊而已

表现得若无其事真的是我的强项

有时我真的很想放下那无畏的自尊与面子

勇敢地释放感情去大哭一场

。。。但就是不能。。。

连看了最爆笑的康熙也无法真正的从内心里笑出来。。。

这世上有无限逻辑是难以理解的

就像宇宙般地奥妙神奇

奥妙得让我好奇但却难以理解与抓摸

可能是我太笨了吧。。。

或许。。

我总是爱把一些简单的事情看得太重太复杂

投入过分的感情与关怀可能也不是件好事

从来都不觉得自己很烦很多余但现在却感觉得到了

可能话多说了反而就变得很多余吧？

这道理我也明白的。。。

过去的一切酸甜苦辣可能就只是个回忆而已

回忆就是回忆历史是不可能重演

想太多也无法把事情纠正反而带来更多的痛苦

那想来干嘛呢？我也不明白不了解但就是爱浪费时间去想。。。

我很常对自己说

有空我倒不如多想想我的未来多多规划目前比较重要的事情吧

可惜我往往都只是开口说空话看鬼说鬼话看人说人话。。好不实在。。

好吧！我想。。真的是时候去唤醒我那失散的灵魂了

把事情看得平淡些简单些对一切都会比较好吧

离上课时间还有六小时半

但我却完全无法入睡

真的要多谢那两包Nescafe 3in1。。。

今天将会是个很忙碌的一天

上完课就要继续赶完明天要交的课业

然后继续去练习三小时的球

那么充实的一天应该会让我很疲累

然后可以好好地睡一觉吧~

才得知我们家的宝贝小白兔已离开人间

正好是八月十五中秋节

我还想说

难道它是跟随嫦娥飞到月亮当月兔了吗？

还记得。。。

昨天 '你'低着头不理会我

我还不以为然的认为'你'是心情不好而不理睬我

没想到今天我就再也见不到'你'了。。。

在短短的一年多里

Boony还真的让我们一家人增添不少的欢乐

现在每当看见那空空的笼子

想想了当年的回忆

我的眼泪就会情不止尽地在眼眶里打圈圈

希望在西界的'你'会过得更快乐~

天天吃'你'爱的榴梿，米饭，红萝卜，etc~

我们会很想念'你'的~!!

I can't believe how stubborn i can be when i wanted something, immediately!

And how suffering it can be to have bad/short-term memory.

Just found out a new equation for myself:

"stubborn + poor memory = insomnia + headache"

Besides, i also found out that, it's not exactly a good idea to tidy up my stuffs so 'neatly'.

When i wanted to find things that are perfectly secured, well-packed and hidden...

...there it comes, my nightmare of having insomnia...

Out of a sudden before i fall asleep, i thought of finding YOU ALL.

Because of that, i messed up my room in the middle of the night...which sounds really STUPID!

After 2 hours searching from one corner to another...

...I FINALLY found ALL OF YOU ---> my LOVELY CARDS that securely wrapped, packed and kept in a broken drawer of mine.

Now what?

I'm utterly tired + having headache...but totally awake by now...

Surely gonna 'fish' in the office tomorrow...

??何苦勒??

Bukit Tabur and Broga Hill~

Recently, i've fell in LOVE with hikings! Ever since i came back from the UK, i've explored to Bukit Gasing, Bukit Tabur and Broga Hill~ I'd say, Bukit Tabur was the BEST! It's challenging and the sceneries are awesome~!

There's a lake beside Bukit Tabur which i found out that some people actually called it as "梦湖" (fantasy lake).

As for Broga Hill, the scenery was great too! But then, this hill is getting more and more famous...and we actually "jammed" on the hill a few times! Can you imagine that... (=.=)

This reminded me of "茶壶山" in Taiwan. The differences are, there's no Ocean Pacific view from here and there's no "pondok" and proper staircase up here. :p

Macro Shooting using Digital Camera

This "little flower" icon on my digital camera, has bothering me for a long time. Since last year, i was wondering how come other people's digital camera can take such good shots BUT mine can't... WHY?! However, i didn't bother to find that out until recently, i saw this fastinating photo taken by my friend~ These tiny ants are so clear while the background is blurred!~

Here's the fastinating photo that i'm talking about~ ^^

Because of this, i made up my mind and tried to find out some information via internet. One of the important phrases that i noted was, "different camera has different limitation on the Macro mode --> READ your camera's manual!"

As for my camera (Coolpix L12), the limitation for this mode is as close as 15cm. So, in order to get a sharp object with blur background, you may have to distance your camera to at least 15cm, then zoom in to your desired object and focus it (press halfway). By holding on your "focusing" button, move your camera slightly upward or to any desired background, then snap!

Thah Dang!~

And if you want a blur object with sharp background, you may have to move your camera as close to the object as possible (zoom-out completely), focus it (press halfway) and you'll find that your object is totally off-focus (BLUR)! ***Well, that's normal coz the Macro mode for my camera is limited to as close as 15cm ONLY*** Again, by holding on your "focusing" button, move your camera slightly upward or to any desired background, then snap!

Thah Dang!~

DO TRY IT USING YOUR OWN DIGITAL CAMERA~! IT'S FUN!!! (^.^)

Sometimes, working life can be SUPER boring especially when no job is assigning to you. However, i do appreciate the working experience that i am gaining from G&P company; they are priceless~

The work that i am dealing with now, is more to data analysis and modelling. When we talk about data analysis, that simply means you are dealing with tonnes and tonnes of numbers! And through this internship, i have learned to use Macro function in repeating the steps that i want in Excel. It is awesome! Saving my time!~

EXAMPLE

If let say you are having a range of monthly data from year 1990-2005 and your task is to plot monthly graphs.

---> Macros is of GREAT help in selecting only a certain month that you desired~!

Step 1: Make sure your data is sorted accordingly (by months and years). Now, point your cursor on Jan-90 as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2: Go to “View” and click on “Macros”, then select “Use Relative References” as shown in Figure 2. [NOTE: Do not remove the cursor on Jan-90]

Step 3: Click on “Record Macro…” from “Macros” function. Then, insert a shortcut key in the pop-up menu, let say, Ctrl + “w” as shown in Figure 3. [NOTE: Do not remove the cursor on Jan-90]

Step 4: Highlight rows from Feb-90 to Dec-90, then right click to delete them as shown in Figure 4.

Step 5: Now, point your cursor at Jan-91, then click "Stop Recording" as shown in Figure 5.

Step 6: By pointing the cursor on Jan-91, you may now press on "Ctrl+w" (the shortcut key that you set earlier) repeatedly until your task is done. Finally, only the data for the month of January are selected while the rest of the data are deleted automatically using “Macros” function. DONE~!

***Macros is a very useful function in repeating any task you want. Most importantly, be very certain of your desired starting and ending points***

Words are so powerful..
Sometimes, they can be really wonderful and make you happy..
But sometimes, they can be very harmful and hurt you badly..

Most people that know me, they like to make jokes about me or even tease me..
But i know it well, they do it because they know i won't get angry easily..
But of course, everyone has a limit in accepting jokes..so do i..
Until some extent if i keep quiet about the things that you're saying, that simply means, i'm either not agreeing with your statement, i didn't hear that or i'm simply a bit angry and trying to calm myself down by changing a new topic..
I realised, not many people can understand me in this..eventhough we have been knowing each other for years..

And i always thought, things can be solve only if the problem/uneasy feeling is being told..but things aren't just that simple..
I know, i can be really rude in spilling out my bad feelings sometimes..
And i just did that to 2 person last night..one is my mum and one is YOU..
Well, i should just admit that my EQ is so damn low...i can't help it...

I don't normally spill out my feelings unless i really have to..
This time, i really have to because if i don't, i know i'm really gonna break down in no time..

First of all, sorry mum.. I shouldn't have shouted at you last night when helping you out..i know i always do that because i have no patience in explaining things over and over again while i know you're actually not paying attention.. I'll try my best to change this bad habit.. Sorry..

Secondly, sorry to YOU as i really didn't know that a few sentences can be so hurtful to YOU.. I know, what's done cannot be undone, especially to YOU.. My bad.. (>.<)

Thirdly, i ought to say sorry to Ting as well.. I know i did hurt your feelings a few times in the UK for spilling out my feelings.. I did right? But i must say, you're very patience in dealing with me.. Thank you so much~ Well, i'm gonna be your roommie soon, if i'm ever hurting your feelings again, do let me know k? You know, i like to discuss problems and solve that with you instead of putting it in heart.. :)

Lastly, sorry bro.. I FFK you yesterday night and you knew why... I know you've tonnes to spill out and so do i.. But i really dunno how to say.. Well, i may be a good listener (to you only...maybe?) but not a good spiller.. I know you're very busy in your mega project lately..and i can't get to help you at all..really sorry.. When you're free, just give me a ring.. I promise, i will never FFK you this time.. :)

A week had passed.... What have i done?!! Maths ONLY!!! Been slacking ALOT and having TOO MUCH fun!! Especially yesterday and today... This was the FIRST time i played NON-STOP for more than 24 hours(excluded a few hours of sleep)!!

Yesterday, at 12pm i started cooking my chicken curry coz SOMEONE told me they will be arriving around 3pm~! As a result, my curry was over-cooked.....and burnt!! First time cooking+burnt, BUT still finished one whole pot of chicken curry woh~ You can imagine how "delicious" was that la.. :p

Besides my burnt curry, we also had delicious grilled chicken by Ken, excellent ABC soup by Shea Yeong, wonderful belt-fish by Teng Teng, and "no taste + not juicy" grilled lamb by Jason~ :p

After the "meat feast", we started card games such as "King", "Seven", "21", "Good Buddy", "Big 2" and "左轮手枪" plus drink drink drink~!! Half bottle of Whisky, a bottle of Vodka and a bottle of red wine plus 7-ups and a bottle of lemonade ---> killed 3 people....which are Ken, Jason and I........

I dunno what had happened after i collapsed.....and thanks to both Ting&Teng, i was on the bed instead of lying somewhere in the kitchen or the hallway"....

....this morning, they woke me up around 11 plus... Still abit "mabuk + pening"... Then, we started our card games again!! This time, NO MORE drinking!! Just having fun playing while cooking our "onion feast" for "lunch + dinner"... After eating, we rewarded ourselves with Ben's & Jerry's ice cream~ Winners eat~ Losers watch~ HAHA!!

After a nice treat, yet we had our final "punishment" ---> LAST bottle of hot wine~ That bottle of wine was actually not that bad....BUT after drinking TOO MUCH in the previous day, no one is appreciating that anymore... In short, it was wasted..

Finally, we ended our party around 8 something~ Having a gathering once in a blue moon, was truely joyful~ But NOT too often coz i'm getting sick after drinking too much...

Conclusion ---> Drinking is NO GOOD coz in the end, i can do NOTHING but to sleep...(>.<) Tomorrow is Sunday already!! Hopefully i can do some reading before heading to Edinburgh on Monday~ Snowy Edinburgh~ Here we come~ WooHoo~

Come to think of it, I’ve been away from home for more than 2 months now. So far, I’ve not been to any other place, except a small town called Leicester (which not many people could have known of it) and London Heathrow (which I only stepped my foot in the airport for less than an hour). That’s right, I’m basically stuck here in Nottingham and having a typical life as a student; study, cook, eat, sleep, play badminton, online, and shop for groceries. What else can I do??

To be honest, I have been really busy for the past few weeks because of my coursework that are constantly due on the same week or even on the same day!!(@.@) It has been a nightmare for me and it still is a nightmare for another 2 more weeks. Well, I do think I’ve been stressing myself a little too much and I do apologise if I did upset anyone for being “unfriendly”. OMG!! I seriously can’t wait to end this all up and take a break man!! Just another 2more weeks!! I’ll be coursework-free!! Woohoo~ (^.^)

After all this while, tonight was indeed the best night I've had, ever since I am here in the UK. Mr Tang (one of our lecturers from M’sia) was here since last week and we finally get to meet up with him tonight. Together, we attended a fabulous lecture regarding soil behaviour by one of the best lecturers named Dr. McDowell. Dr. McDowell, is not only handsome, but also smart and family oriented. The moment that he acknowledged his mother for all the supports she has been giving to him since childhood time was so touching and my tears are rolling in my eyes too.

Anyway, I think I have gone a little too far. What I am trying to say is, “Nice meeting you, Mr Tang!!” Tonight we all really had a wonderful chat with you and Mr Bill. We chatted on almost anything in random but interesting; the history of Civil Engineering in Uni. Of Nottingham, the names of the current buildings of Coates and Pope, the Telford, the sudden massive demands for education in Britain after World War 2, the current economy crisis, and etc. It was just so awesome that we could actually chat freely with our lecturers man~! :)

It has been nearly 3 weeks since I arrived in the UK.. It was the end of summer when I just came here & it is now the beginning of Autumn~
Things have been changing all this while; the environment, the culture, the FOOD!, the cold weather (becoming even colder now), the people, and etc..

In recent weeks, many of them have been asking me the same question, "Are you not homesick??"..
Come to think of it....MAYBE not....

The reason is.....

Anyway, I'm now staying at an off campus self-catered hall at Raleigh Park..
We are jolly lucky to have everything brand new!!

Nice & comfy room together with my lovely blue pillow & Harry Potter(Yeah right, I do admit that I'm abit too slow in reading.. :p)

Well, you might be wondering of what this is...
This is actually a detention pond in Jubilee Campus!!
Detention pond is used to reduce peak storm water runoff rates by providing temporary storage..
In short, it's a drainage system with water plants..
The plants in it are actually acting as a natural filter in disolving the pollutants prior to discharge of runoff into the receiving streams..
Isn't that COOL?!!

How lovely she is.. But it's not as nice as the one in Taiwan though.. haha~

Yesterday, when I was on my way to a nearby KTM station, I saw this brainless teenager thrown out a plastic bottle that he had just consumed onto the ground.

Something just crossed into my mind at that moment, “What the hell is wrong with you?!! Can’t you see the existing garbage on the ground?!! It’s getting more and MORE each day!! Why can’t you just hold it in your hand and throw it away when you see a garbage bin?? Is it really that hard, you idiot?!!”

Well, maybe this guy should go and buy a movie ticket, stick his butt on a nice cushion and educate himself a little bit more of a simple knowledge by watching Wall-E. If you’re a person just like him, I may probably shout at you and say, “You RUBBISH!! Do you NOT know what the purpose of a garbage bin is?!! Do I have to show you HOW by throwing you IN THERE?!!” Alright, this may sounds a bit too violent. Maybe I should say it in a much proper way, “Good boy/girl, go and watch Wall-E. Go Go Go~”

YES!! This picture shows us exactly what's happening in Malaysia and around the world I'm sure. GARBAGE CRISIS!!

Not clear enough?? Well, maybe this is much better~ For those who've watched Wall-E, I'm sure this looks familiar for you guys and it's happening on our lovely Earth!! Do you know that?!!

I'm pretty sure MOST of you knew about this but NOT MANY of us bother to deal with it. WHY?? I'd say, it's our mentality problem. I've once heard from a friend that, "Everyone is throwing rubbish on the ground or river. Although if I'm not, it won't have make much of a difference" Well, I can't remember whom that "rubbish" was. HmmpH!!

Last summer in Seattle, my aunt told me that it's a MUST for them to segregate their garbage into re-cyclable, non-recyclable and food waste. This is the policy and everyone is doing their job. If we're having such policy in Malaysia, do you think you can do your part TOO??

Whereas in Taiwan, they are having "Rubbish do not touch the ground" policy. By having almost the same amount of population as in Malaysia, but with an area that is almost 10 times smaller, space is definitely precious in Taiwan. Therefore, such policy not only reduces the amount of space taken up by garbage bins, but it also helps in reducing the smelly odour on the streets.

As shown on the picture, the yellow truck is the garbage collector that they are using. From nearby distance, I can guarantee you won't failed to hear the music coming out from the yellow truck. And once the residents heard that music, they'll automatically prepared themselves in front of the door. If they missed it, they'd have to keep the rubbish at home. YES!! At home!! And if you think your garbage stinks, that is when you'd start to reduce the amount of garbage you're producing. So, isn't it a brilliant policy?? If a similar policy is applied in Malaysia, I really wonder how many of us would actually bother to obey it. (>.<)

Next, can you see the blue thing? It is called the "Environmental friendly chopsticks" (EFC). In Taiwan, most of the halker stalls are providing bamboo chopsticks (use & dump). In order to reduce the amount of that usage, they come up with EFC which you can bring around, use it then wash it at home. What a COOL idea right?? All of us; the Malaysians actually bought one pair of those. But after awhile, we're not using that anymore. Well, Malaysians you see. :p

Can you see this cute paper containers? This is the way they pack their take-away food. And in Malaysia?? ---> Polystyrene containers, transparent plastic containers or transparent plastic bags.

As for shopping, plastic bags are not for FREE!! But at least, in Malaysia is now promoting environmental friendly bags. But I don't think this idea works when plastic bags are still giving out for free! Shall start doing something about it maybe?

Well, this post is NOT meant to criticise our lovely country, Malaysia. We're still developing you see. A country will never improved if the citizens are not co-orperating. And of course, the government MUST do things in a MORE "proper" way.

In the next decades, will this nice green mountains be replaced by garbage mountains?? No one knows, but I hope NOT~

再见　台湾

想起台湾　我就会想起Seven Eleven(台湾是全世界最多Seven的地方吧），Family Mart（跟Seven一样），水煎包，爱玉冰，１０１，捷运（train），多多冰沙（Ice Blended Yakult），碗糕，六福村(Amusement Park)，酒(好便宜！)，海带，新鲜的sashimi和海鲜，'oh ah"面线，香肠，Costco(美式Hypermarket)，夜市，绿绿的山，呼啦圈挂在树上都没人偷的大公园，没有石膏味的豆花，温泉(如果跟利猫猫，LaLa和Nicky去是有点可怕的)，珍珠奶茶(有大小珍珠哦)，ColdStone(马来西亚没有叻)，and etc.... 太多了啦...

Anyway，真的好久好久没ｕｐｄａｔｅ我的部落格了耶～
我想说，今天是０８０８０８的难得好日子啊～
那就开始记载“一下”我在台湾度过的一切一切吧！

首先是，我们大马“巨宾”被热情如火的台湾朋友们迎接的那一刻~
她们亲手做了一个大大欢迎cardboard，还当场高唱伍佰的“你是我的花朵”~
那时可能太热闹吧，大家的歌声都完全被淹没了 :p

有看到李国典的笑容吗？我们那时的心情都是一样的兴奋惊讶！
仿佛成了明星一样有点儿受宠若惊的感觉~
而且，大部分大马人都比较保守吧不太懂得如何表达自己~
相信我，我们那时真的非常感动那一刻是永不难忘的~ ^_^

好！要出发环岛一星期了！先来个合照吧~
很可惜的是，Josefina, Helen & KK　都无法参与我们的行程~

这辆就是陪伴我们环岛的战车上下了好多山路还好我们有很棒的Alonso Min, Alonso Tien & Alonso Tan~
一开始车子真的没被刮花耶都是我不好吧抱歉了大家 :(
以后我还是骑机车或单车比较好~

我饿了很久很久也在车憋尿憋超久好遥远的路程而且还下大雨~
终于到达了环岛第一站，台中逢甲夜市~
放进我嘴里的第一杯饮料就是台湾很有名的50岚珍珠奶茶！一个字，赞！！

来台湾当然就是吃！吃！吃！嘛~

接下来就是我蒙昧以求的水煎包！赞赞赞！！！

别看它们的长相不是很好在放进嘴里的那一刻就只有“超好吃”三个字来形容吧~

但吃了之后我和Toi Toi 都觉得它怪怪味道有点像尿尿 :p

看！老板在做的是我们大马人都觉得可怕的…….

接下来就是又大又好吃的香烤鱿鱼好吃好吃~

在等待我们Shopping Queen Nicky的期间，大家选择了去投篮运动运动“一下”~
而且过后我们还能不停的免费投篮真是好lucky啊~
所谓“happy go lucky”嘛~

Oh对了！那时Leta(台中人，白衣那位)也陪我们逛夜市还带我们去一个不懂叫什么名字的地方看夜景~
隔天还请我们吃凤爪　人很好耶～

隔天，我们终于吃到在台湾的第一份早餐 ---- 是白萝卜糕，蛋饼(马来西亚没有)和豆浆哦~

好！该上路到阿里山咯~
“阿里山”是啦啦的山，“啦啦山”也是啦啦的山，在台湾还有什么山是妳的呢？~

写到有点累了～
真不明白　为什么利猫猫可以写那么快？？
还是．．．．．

OMG!! I can't believe that i'm actually leaving to Taiwan tmr!! It's a long waited trip since last year.. Is time to say "hi" again to my friends from Taiwan.. But in a month time, we're going to say "bye" again.. I hate saying "goodbye".. But what to do, 所谓“天下无不散之筵席”.. (>.<)

Excited!! But yet....abit worried..dunno why.. :p

2)Have i done with my packing?
Not yet!! Heck!! Why am i writing blog instead?!?!

3)Am i looking forward for the food & excitements in Taiwan?
Duh.. Of course..

4)Will i changed my outlook after this trip?
NO!! Therefore, please stop telling me to put on make-up, wear high heel shoe, skirt & earrings coz you're wasting your energy for telling me that.. :p

I guess so...but i hope NOT!! (>.<)

Boony(my bunny) & Edwin(my laptop).. hehe..

Well, i think i shall stop crapping right here & continue packing my stuffs instead!!

Durian Season!!! Bunny likes durian too?!?!

2 days ago... When my dad and I were on the car, passing by a durian stall...

CAL: Dad, is it now the beginning of durian season??
Dad: Yup.
CAL: That means during July is the perfect time to buy durians lo??
Dad: Yup.
CAL: What about August??
Dad: No more I guess.
CAL: HaaRRRRR?!! But I wanna eat durian!!
Dad: Next year lo…
CAL: (=.=)...

Then yesterday, my mum called me in the afternoon and said...

Mum: Hey, make sure you’re at home the whole day k??
CAL: I will, but WHY??
Mum: Mr. Kang will bring us some durians from Muar, he owned a durian farm remember??
CAL: Of course I remember!! Every year we get free durians from him. Don’t worry mum, I’ll open the door big big for him. WakakaKAAA...

After that, I tried to stop Boony from eating the durians... I then put all the durians in a basket...

BUT............

It didn’t work!!!

Boony, sometimes I really wanted to limit your diet coz the MORE you EAT, the MORE you “PRODUCED”!!!

But you’re simply TOO CUTE and reminds me of something...

Papa's Birthday!!

Today is a BIG day for daddy!! So, in order to give our daddy a SMALL but valueble surprise, my sis & I decided to COOK!! Although it's not any luxurious/grand meal you can get in a hotel or something, and the food may also taste not as good..but it's the thought that counts afterall.. :)

So, what's in our menu?? Let's have a look.........

1. Black pepper lamb chop + vege + mashed potatoes
The lamb chops are SUPPOSED to be cooked by me..BUT since my aunty they all already arrived & i still yet to bath!! My aunt decided to grill them for me coz they all are starving.. haha.. The mashed potato is done by my sis & the vege is done by me(at least).. :p

2. Tomato soup
Believe it or not, this "oi sam tong" is cooked by me!! **proud** First time cooking this, the pot that i use to cook is slightly too small.. So, ended up the soup is slightly too "thick", but is consider quite delicious ohh.. hehe..

3. Fruits & vege salad
My sis's masterpiece.. I think she spent more than an hour just to cut these ingredients into smaller pieces.. ~~Wonderful~~ Unlike me, my way of cooking is ---> simply cut, then dump everything inside the wok and fry.. :p

4. Spaghetti
This is done by my sis.. Spaghetti with special sauce ---> tomato paste + onion + garlic + carrot + celery + "traffice light" peppers + mushroom + minced pork & chicken + fresh abalone!!

5. Mocktail

I used to have 2 VERY CUTE doggies named as Binnie(my sister's dog) & Papyrus(my dog).. At the end of last year, they were given away as my mum always complain that they are too noisy.. Binnie is a very gentle dog whereas, Papyrus is a super duper hyper dog.. Both are females and they used to fight very often--->Papyrus likes to provoke her whenever she feels bored.. :p

So, what we left are only memories.......

Today was a very special day.. Firstly, our car's window was totally spoilt...AGAIN(Proton's car..sigh)!! Secondly, my sister's college was having some kind of charity events.. There's a game where she paid RM1 to buy a "fish net" made of tissue.. With this "fish net", you can catch which ever fish you like on the pond without spoiling the "fish net".. And she managed to catch a FAT golden fish on her second try.. BRAVO!! This fishy was then named as Goldy..

When she's back from college, we went out for lunch + fix the car's window + buy water grass for our fishies.. Oh ya, we have an old fishy named Bluey.. While waiting for the car to be fixed...very long indeed--->we went to organic food shop, coffee shop & pet shop.. In the pet shop, there are 2 VERY cute doggy & bunny!! We ended up buying the white bunny coz it's TOO CUTE!! And the MAIN POINT is...it doesn't "make noise".. haha.. The bunny is then named as Boony!! ^.^

Sunway Lagoon!!!

My LongggggGGG summer break had started 2 weeks ago.. OMG!! I am so damn BORING!! Not working, so what do I normally do?? Watch drama, online, cook, clean my house, take care of the naughty girl, hang out with friends, sleep, eat, go for training, and etc.. Oh ya, I MISS badminton!! Who wants to play badminton?? Call me call me call me!! Due to less exercise but MORE food consumption, no earning and ONLY spending, I'm basically having a pointless, useless, & unhealthy life.. Sigh.. Oh well, I shall stop complaining on how "leisure" I am.. Otherwise, some people might start cursing me.. =P

OK!! At least last Saturday i did something joyful with my family.. We went to Sunway Lagoon & it was totally F.O.C. (my sis has 5 free tickets)!! Wakakakaaa.. But there is one thing which I really MAD of; food & drinks are no allowed.. EVEN water...YESSSss!! WATER is NOT allowed TOO!?!? Am I in an airport & getting ready for boarding?!! WTH!!! I believe most people know that the F&B in a theme park is going to cost you ALOT.. And I do understand that's how they earn a bloody hell lot of money from people.. Earning is one thing, but not forcing k!!

I worked in Cedar Point (an amusement park in USA) last summer.. What I like about CP is not only the COOL rides they have, but actually how WELL the customers are being taking care of.. The customers are actually provided with picnic areas, water cooler everywhere around the park, designated smoking areas, & etc.. Believe it or not, disable people are VERY welcome to have fun in the park TOO!! Disable people are provided with special passes so that they do not need to line up but only wait for a certain period depending on how long the queue is(one ride at a time; fair & square).. Other than that, "parent pass" is also provided to parents that have small kids.. The purpose for this is, when one parent had got down from the ride, another parent that have been taking care of their children can take this "parent pass" and go on the ride without lining up again.. Not only youngsters are welcome to the park, but a BIG family and EVEN disable people are welcome too!! How cool is that right?!! Although not all the rides are fun but at least all these rides are efficient!! All the roller coasters have AT LEAST 2 "trains" running at one time!! Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticising the theme parks we have here in M'sia.. But in order to gain more profits, GREAT improvements are needed and NOT ONLY by “forcing people to buy their F&B”!!

Anyway, Sunway Lagoon did change for A BIT after renovation; the Pirate’s Revenge is now a 360 degrees turning ride, no doubt it’s MORE fun BUT the design of the shoulder harnesses & lap bars are sucks!! The following drawing may looked abit ugly...but at least it shows what I actually mean.. :p

Another thing is, the ride hosts are not checking on your seat belts, shoulder harnesses or lap bars before pressing on the buttons to start the ride.. Sigh.. Instead of having newer & cooler rides, lagoon is now having Extreme Park, Scream Park(haunted house), & Fish Spa.. The Scream Park is not too bad, but due to the flashing lights & 3D illusions that are spinning around, you’ll get very dizzy.. The Extreme Park is consisting of flying fox, paintball, rock climbing, jet boat, kayaking, and ATV.. It’s quite fun, worth going i think.. :)

If you’re planning to spend your day in lagoon, go for the wet & extreme parks; the dry park is a total waste of time(seriously).. Remember, it opens at 10am the earliest & closes at 6pm!! To be frank, 8 hours are so NOT enough for such inefficient services provided..

Anyway, the GREAT thing is, we all had lots of FUN on that day.. ^.^

Lunch time!! OMG, we're so damn hungry..and the F&B are so bloody expensive ok!!

After a tiring day, we decided to let our foot relax for abit, in a "geli" way; Fish Spa!! Ting Ting, now I know how you feel the other day, VERY "geli" ohh!! Although, I do think that it's kinda "funny" as we are actually paying to feed other people's fishes.. haha.. Anyway, it's worth paying to experience something different & ridiculous sometimes.. In fact, we thought of buying these fishes so that we can do this for infinite times.. :p

Flying Fox!! It's VERY fun, BUT it'd be better if it's HIGHER and STEEPER!! hehe..

As most Malaysians know, McD is now giving away a BIG treat of FREE BIG MAC!!! In order to get a FREE BIG MAC, all you need to do is to read the following phrase in 4 SECONDS!!

After the tournament on last Saturday, my friends had decided to take this challenge.. The first thing that crossed my mind was, "how could that be possible?? ONLY 4 seconds are given!!".. Without trying, i told myself that, "No way, you're not going to make it".. Looking at my friends who are practicing & trying, they DID it in just 2 seconds plus!! From that moment I was thinking that, "Alright, why not you give a try too.. No harm trying right?".. I then borrowed the small coupon from them and started practicing, not too bad, i did it in 3 seconds plus.. Before reaching the nearest McD outlet, we all keep on practicing non-stop.. Oh well, we all are ACTUALLY taking this challenge so SERIOUSLY than our studies.. =P And yup, we all that have tried did managed to get a FREE BIG MAC in just 2-3 seconds.. BRAVO girls!! ^_^

All this while, i've been telling myself that my stamina is TOO BAD.. I need to improve.. YES i do.. But how?? It's either swim or run.. Yesterday night i decided to swim in my uni as that could probably be my last time to swim before going home.. Before i started swimming, i told myself, "you MUST at least swim for 5 laps, MUST!!".. Everytime i swim across from one end to another, i need to rest for a bit and take a breath.. What to do, my stamina is REAL BAD.. Sigh.. But i'm very glad that i DID managed to FORCE myself to swim for 5 laps(100m??).. ~~so happy~~ Anyway, i don't think this is good enough.. I do hope that i can do better next time; 10 laps maybe?? Hopefully i can.. :)

For those who know me very well, they'd know that i'm actually very LOW in confidence.. Although i do look "tough" physically, but mentally, i'm VERY WEAK.. I'd get nervous or give up easily, and that's my biggest failure during tournaments.. Sigh.. Oh YES, i do need improvement on this.. And what i need to do is to challenge myself more; set a target and force myself to accomplish that.. To be frank, it does help as i believe that:

Challenge builds courage,
And courage builds confidence,
With confidence we bring success.

For those who are just as LOW confidence as me, DO NOT give up.. Take the challenge, take the risk, believe in yourself and be proud of what you are capable of.. Trust me, a little bit of improvement could brings you a better life for tomorrow.. ^.^

Battle LOST!!!!

Oh well, just another "let down" for badminton tournament.. My team and i went to UCSI early in the morning.. We reached there at 8am in order to register for our team.. Since our game was going to start at 10am, we had "dim sum" for breakfast before the match started..

UCSI was the organiser for this tournament and also our "enemies" for the first match.. Before the match started, we were wondering, "where are the players for UCSI? Are they still having 'secret' training at else where or something?".. About 20mins before the match, they finally arrived.. And guess what, their girls are real GOOD!! As for our team, our guys are REAL GOOD too...but the girls (including me), i think ALL of us were too nervous and i do think that we are not as good as the opponents.. In the end, we were defeated in our Women Singles, Women Doubles and Mixed Doubles, in other word, we LOST!! Sorry guys, i know it was our fault.. Sigh..

For the second match, our opponents are from HICT.. This team has ONLY one girl which is GOOD and the guys are of course, not as good as our team's.. And yup, we WON!! But no matter how, we're still losing.. In order to get into semi finals, each team has to be the champion out of 3 teams..

Anyway, it was a good experience seeing that we were the FIRST team representing the University of Nottingham Malaysia.. haha.. And i believe that for next year, we are definitely going to perform way better than this.. In order to WIN, what we need are good team management, proper and more frequent trainings, communications among the guys and girls, and also CONFIDENCE!!! Nott's badminton team, i've faith in you, we CAN DO IT!!! ^.^

Pissed Off

Sometimes, people tend to say the wrong thing at a wrong time (not intentionally maybe?) or do stupid things, which then lead to unnecessary dispute. Some people agree that dispute only happens because you care and you love each other. This is quite true, in a sense that you won’t even want to bother with people that you’re not even close with. But in other hand, it also creates much more misunderstanding if things are not settled in a proper way. Well, I can only say, reading people’s mind is a big knowledge. In fact, no one can afford to please everybody else, neither do I.

I hardly ever get pissed off at people because I really hate dispute (unless if there are ridiculous things happen on me). At most, I’ll get angry for a day or maybe just a few minutes or few hours. Remain silence is what I always do so that dispute don’t get worse. By doing this, people won’t know what their problems are (which is a bad thing here). But somehow, I’d rather you find out what your problem is, than me telling to you. The reason for this is, I respect you as a knowledgeable person and I aspect you to think of that. To be frank, I really respect people that understand their faults and try their best to make improvements. These people are rather mature and are actually giving themselves a room for growth. I RESPECT you people that have such character.

Too bad, not everyone has such character. Recently, there is a VERY ridiculous “person” doing ridiculous things to me. Didn’t you know that YOU ARE pissing me off so badly?!?! I really think I have to clarify it AGAIN here because that “person” doesn’t seem to understand my language. I do understand that some people like privacy and refuse to reveal their real identity to the public. I seriously don’t mind if you’re using a nickname. But for god sake, you’re illegally using my name and my friend’s name to leave messages in our “chatbox”!!! What’s your intention?!?! I really DON’T understand!!! Can YOU tell me WHY?!?!?! If YOU ARE reading this now, I just want to tell you that I roughly know who you are. For this moment, I don’t have any concrete evidence to shoot you. And my final words to you is, you better STOP doing this because it really irritating, annoying and pissing me off!!! Be more mature OK??

Extreme & Random

Well, i think today (i mean yesterday since it's already 4am now) shall be a day for rememberance.. My frieds had finally passed up their final year design and i on the other hand was done with my damn dissertation.. Therefore, we thought of treating ourselves better.. During dinner time, my roommate drove us all the way to Milwaukee at Balakong for western food.. After dinner, we went back home.. At around 11pm, they decided to go for supper at Broga and i followed since i've nothing much to do at home.. When we reached Broga, the shop was not open.. Then they decided to take a small adventure to Lenggeng+Beranang.. None of us had ever been there and not surprisingly, it is actually a very small and remote town with nothing much to eat at that time except for Malay food..

Because of that, we decided to drive all the way to Serembam, for another night's adventure.. Although this place is much more civilised than Lenggeng+Beranang, but still, there ain't any Chinese restaurant for us to have supper.. And in the end, we ended up in Jalan Ipoh for dim sum..

All in my life, i really seldom do such extreme and random things.. This just ain't my usual style of doing things without much thought or plannings.. Well, i'm not as adventurous as them maybe.. =P Anyway, it was a great adventure and this was probably the last time i can have such adventure with them seeing that they are all going to graduate soon.. :(

p.s.: 4 hours of adventures...I think it's sufficient enough for us to drive to Ipoh and come back...but we drove to Jalan Ipoh instead... =P

Am I the Luckiest Person on this Planet??

YEAH~~~ I'm soooOOOoooo happy that i've finally done with my disssertation report regarding Sanitary Landfill.. FINALLY!!!! An 8000 words(although i ONLY done a min of 7500) report may seem very little to some people.. But for me, it's a disaster.. Imagine that i can actually sitting in front of the laptop and stoning for the whole day without any progress!!! Well, i'm a TOTAL failure in writing essays..

As usual, i like to procrastinate my work to the very last minute.. 8 months were given to us but only 1 month's of efforts had been putting in.. =P Since last Friday, i've been having an unusual life style in order to finish up my damn report; stayed up till 6/7am and woke up around 12pm to do work.. Under such stressful condition, i've totally lost my appetite for few days.. Even after so many days of sleepless night(not total sleepless though), i'm still not done with it.. A day before submission, i still left about 2k more to write!!! At that moment I was like, "Shit!! how am i going to crap things out and get it done by tomorrow!?!?!) However, I'm VERY fortunate to have friends that actually helped me on this.. Without their help, i don't think i can even finish it on time.. I LOVE you girls so much!! :)

Lesson learned: NEVER EVER procrastinate your work.....

April Fools' Day!!!

What's so special about April Fools?? For me, i think it's just a normal day that allows people to "legally" trick & fool you(but no harm).. So, did anyone got fooled today?? For those who are not, you guys are just lucky.. After so many years, i've not been bother much about these date coz i've never got fooled by anyone before(i think so)......not until today that something happened.....

.....this morning i was over slept AGAIN; woke up at 8.25am and my class actually starts at 9am!!!! When i was in the toilet, Ting Ting(my classmate that cycle to school with me) called up and said, "it's raining..so how?? Can you call Kelvin(my classmate too) & ask whether he can fetch us or not".. After hang up, i quickly brush up and get ready in 15 mins before calling Kelvin.. And we're so glad that he's willing to fetch us but we were told that we'll still end up being late for class.. I replied, "it's ok to be late, what important is we're not skipping classes(which is what i always did anyway...=P)

While i was preparing my breakfast, i got a "lovely" message from my "lovely" classmate saying that, "hey, need not rush, the class was cancelled. Do u guys wanna go out for breakfast with us??"... At that moment, i was thinking, "wow, we're so lucky!!" and the first thing i did was to call Kelvin so that he don't have to rush over and fetch us.. After i hang up, Ting was being suspicious to the sudden news and called up my "lovely" friend, JASON.. While she was asking Jason, Kelvin called me and said, "who told you that the class was cancelled?".. At that time, i looked at Ting's expression and knew it from her eyes that i was being fooled!!!

Well, what a "good" job Jason; my first time being fooled by friend.. In my brain-->PUNCH!!KICK!!PUNCH!!.... =P

So, the moral of this lesson: You must at least think twice and then re-think twice on what your friends are telling you during April Fools... XD

愤怒！！

原本很想睡得我竟然因为太愤怒而睡不下去真是“靠爸”（连不想说的也说了）！！为何有些人总是觉得自己往往是对的而别人总是错的呢？我已默默的容忍了千万次对自己说 “可能是我的错”。但每当我说“对不起”的时候我都觉得自己很白痴明明就不是我的错！！

第一，我是答应你说我大概两点多会回到家里但你却说“不用那么赶，我会再打电话给你” 那我就当然不那么赶啦。

第二，当你打电话给我时你已到了家而我却还在和我教师讨论问题。我就问说“你可以给我半小时的时间吗？” 你就说不行。那我就问说“那你来学校好了我把钥匙给你” 你却也说不行反而要我立刻回来。那我就很不悦的说“我是骑脚踏车而不是驾车的好不好”。

第三，我以尽快讨论完毕然后赶回来了。而你呢，在我冒雨赶回来的那一刻连一句“谢谢”也没有说都无所谓但你的第一句话却是责怪我说你很赶时间！！如果你老早知道你是很赶时间的就应该老早就让我知道啊！！

那你告诉我这么能不愤怒呢？？！！

虽然这次我也觉得我是有点不应该所以我才道歉了三遍。连你妈妈也会很礼貌的对我说声“谢谢”。而你却。。。我真的不懂我能再容忍多少次毕竟我也是有血有泪的人。

CNY's celebrations with Families... ^.^

The Chinese New Year had just past for weeks.. It’s time to start a new life and “try” to work hard as to accomplish my New Year’s resolutions.. I’ve been really LAZY for the past few weeks, I shall GAMBATE!! (hopefully I’ll) =P

Well, this year I‘ve had an extraordinary CNY’s celebration.. Few months back, my parents were thinking, “why not we go somewhere else for this coming CNY”.. So, the first thing we do was to surf on AirAsia’s website and try to get some cheap or free flights.. Since during CNY is the peak season, most of the flights are at normal prices.. But we did managed to get a quite good deal to Phuket which costs less than RM600 per person.. After the flight’s booking, we are all set to enjoy our CNY in Phuket!!!! But.....

....a week before departure, I just realised that my dad haven’t even make the booking for the hotel!! I was so panic and quickly go online and find for rooms available.. Not long after surfing the net, we found a really nice deal and we then quickly made an online booking.. Few days later, the DAMN hotel manager sent us an email saying that all the rooms were FULLY booked!!! I was like. “WTH!! Now only you tell me this!! Heck!!”.. Guess what, MOST of the hotels were all fully booked as well!! But luckily, after that we did managed to find a very small Inn (no choice) through www.ratestogo.com.. Phew~

Well, this is not the end of story.. The worst thing was, we MISSED our flight on the day back to M’sia!! That was the FIRST time for us to miss a flight, some more this time was ALL of us missed the flight together.. WTH right!!! Well, that was nothing much we can do coz AirAsia do not allow people to pay extra and get redemption for the next flight, plus, all the flights for AirAisa were FULLY booked!! But we were quite “lucky” again and got the tickets by FireFly to fly back to Penang instead of KL.. And from Penang, we took a cab back to Ipoh..

So, what can I say?? An adventurous family trip maybe?? =P Anyway, Phuket Island is a very beautiful island.. The beaches with clean and clear sea water.. And guess what, it’s a great place for people whom like outdoor activities such as BUNGEE JUMP, rafting, diving, snorkelling, etc!!! I’ll definitely go back to Phuket & conquer the Bungee Jump one day.. XD

Pulau Ketam Trip + Penang Trip after Exams

Exam period was the most stressful and tortured moments for those “last minute” students...like me.. =P Therefore, we must treat ourselves better after our battle ends.. A few of my classmates & I had made a day trip to Pulau Ketam(Crab Island).. Well, most people don’t even know the existence of this “fish village” coz it’s not famous at all.. So, why are we paying a visit there then; for the seafood?? I have no idea actually.. haha.. Anyway, it was pretty fun to hang out with my classmates and learnt some “yellow” jokes from them.. Lolz..

VERY long journey...therefore we slept in the train and gain some energy...

The second trip to Penang was incredible as well.. The 4 of us (all girls) drove all the way to Penang and eat non-stop for every couple of hours.. OMG, it was the 1st time I ate so much in just 2 days.. I think I’ve gained at least 2kg after this trip.. >.< After this trip, I can assure 3 things; firstly, the food in Penang is really CHEAP and TASTY!! Secondly, there are so MANY temples in Penang.. Lastly, I really salute the drivers in Penang coz they are so “geng” (Can you believe I can’t stop saying, “they’re so ‘geng’ woh”..)!! Luckily Pin was the driver; otherwise, I think I’d have got stuck in the road junctions for minutes, for hours or maybe forever.. XD

A Bad Day or A Bad Year???!!

Today was my last day of exams.. I didn't do well, but that's not my point here.. My feeling now is happy but yet depressed!! The reason is ONLY one, I had broken my very first & also hard-earned laptop last night!! It fallen vertically down to the floor from my shoulder.. Although I'm not very tall & the laptop didn't even split into half, but its LCD screen was internally cracked.. Most people told me that it's really hard to get a replacement for LCD screen, and if it's possible, the price is gonna be sky high!! Anyway, you must be wondering why it was on my shoulder, well, i was just being stupid you see.. Sigh..

Do you believe in Chinese fortune's predictions?? To be frank, I don't.. Just few days ago, my friend told me that "rabbit" is going to have a BAD year in 2008.. Well, was this only a bad day for me or it is actually going to be a bad year for me??

I LOST in the games!!!! ArggHhhhh… For one game, I’m pretty sure I’ll lose but I think my battle of wills was a bit TOO low at that time too… Where gone my sport spirit?!!? ~~Sigh~~ For another game, my partner & I were actually overconfident… Ended up, LOSE!!! >.<

I’m pretty sure everyone would at least have a dream that they’d want to fulfil it very badly. When ones dream got so close to be fulfilled and out of a sudden, it just disappeared!! The feeling of it was just like you were pushed a few hundred thousand feet down a hill; unbearable pained of heart broke I’d dare say. Life is so cruel!! WHY!! :(

This phrase has given me a **blink** which reminds me that I ought to stop thinking of the past; all the wonderful memories I’ve had for the past 3.5 months in USA. I just can’t resist myself for not thinking about that. How come?? Damn!! Plus all the stresses and responsibilities I’m having now have driven me to an unbearable stage of insomnia! ~~ ArrRggHhh~~ So, I think I shall start adopting the moral principle of this phrase; learn to let go and seek for my future… **blink blink**

The puzzle of my life is expanding gradually since the day I understood the meaning of life. So, when will the puzzle be completed then? I’d say, not until the day I could finally meet the “people” in another “world”. All this while, I’ve experienced lots & lots of wonderful and also awful things, and of course, there are lots more things for me to learn when time goes by. Life goes on, of all the people that I met, how many of them will still remember me in the future?? I won’t know nor shall I say I shouldn’t be bother much. >.<

Anyway, I’m very glad and appreciate all of you who had once, who would still or who have yet to be the pieces of my puzzle. Without you guys, the puzzle of mine could never be so magnificent. And not to forget, I wanna say thank you to all of you who actually remember my b’day. I really appreciate you guys a lot for your greetings, the celebrations or even surprises, the gifts, the cards and the cakes… Thank you so much. ^_^

Mooncake Festival's Celebration at Kajang!!!

That was the first time I celebrated the Mooncake Festival with my friends… FUN!!! We had steamboat for dinner; both soup & porridge’s steamboats… Although, they were tasteless at the beginning, but after added some pepper, soy bean sauce & also MSG, they tasted GREAT!!! Haha… For desserts, we had mooncakes (of course) & also CHOCOLATE CAKE made by Ri Li… The chocolate cake was awesome… ~~~yummy~~~

After dinner, we went to the public children playground and behaved like the kids… >.< We lit the candles & also lanterns and placed them around the slide… Basically, we were dirtying the playground as all the kids did… Lolz… After that, we did something more adultness and tradition but illegally; we flew a BIG lantern called “kung ming deng” in Mandarin… Everyone wrote their wishes on it and lit that on… The higher it flies the bigger chances your dreams would be fulfilled… When it was started to fly up the sky, it hits on a VERY TALL tree… Then, it started falling down… Which means…we were so freaked off!!! But luckily, it flew up again before it actually hits on someone’s window… ~~phew~~

Welcome Home + Mooncake Festival's Party!!!

Today, my lovely family, my aunt, uncle & cousins had organised a simple but lovely party at home, to welcome me back in M'sia and also an early Mooncake Festival's celebration.. So touching.. ^^

We went for jogging in the evening (my mum was having her personal concert at home).. We had a banquet at home after jogging (my mum has finally stopped singing).. After dinner, everyone was scattered around the house, chit chatting and resting (my mum started singing AGAIN!!) Before midnight, we’ve had a small celebration to welcoming me; cake, mooncakes, peanuts, “keropok”, & wine!!! (my mum is still singing!!!) Basically mum was torturing my ears the whole day with all the OLD songs.. Sigh.. What to do, she loves singing a lot I guess.. haha..

Ever since I was back in M'sia, my stomach has never feels hungry, at all!! Been eating so much; like a PIG!!! Lolz.. Have the thought of losing some weight but I’ve not putting any afford into that yet... Everyone said I looked "round" now!!! Sad... >.<

After tomorrow, I’ll be going back to the reality life of torture ---> STUDY!!! NO!!! But one thing good about going back to school is I could finally fulfill my dream of DIET into ACTION ---> BADMINTON!!! ^_^

I'm Back!!!

Well, I'm finally back in M'sia after enjoying (not all the time though) myself in the USA for 3.5 months.. I'm pretty sure most of the people would say, "home sweet home right??".. For me, I'd say, "Yes & no.. Yes, for the FOOD, friends & families back in M'sia.. No, for my friends that i've met in the States!!! I miss them soooOOOoooo much!!".. Besides that, I'm so not prepared for my studies yet!!! I wanna go back to USA!!! >.<

In a way to show how much i miss my friends over there, I’ve specially written a “poem” for all of you.. Not that good of course, since i'm not a good writer but i hope you all would like it.. =P

FATE had brought us together & tied us up 3 months ago,
Of all the things we had gone through,
Only sweet memories are remembered.

Distance is yet again the fact that tears us apart,
No matter how far apart we are,
The strong bond of our friendship will never fade.

Time really flies.. All the sweet memories & a LITTLE bit of sad memories (which I don't even want to remember of), & the adventures during our trips and also when we were on the Roller Coasters, etc.. If you'd like to ask me, "Is it worth to pay for joining the WAT programme??", my answer would definitely be YES!!! There's no other way than joining this programme that you could actually sponsor yourself for staying in the States for 3 months or more, & buying things that you need without spending your parents' money.. But of course, this would also depends how hard working you are and how you could manage the money that you earned.. Anyway, I didn't meant to promote WAT programme & I don't get any single cents for promoting this.. Just wanna let you guys know my opinions and experiences.. That's all..

Life at Cedar Point...Sweet&Happy...Sour+Sad...

It was just so happen that when I was heading to my work place (Millennium Force) this morning, the sky turns grey & started drizzling then pouring; just as grey as my mood today. I’ve been away from home for 2 months. Of course the lives that I’ve had here were fun & unforgettable but it would also be stressful & upset at times. The reason that I’m moody today was I’m soon going to be a “lone ranger” AGAIN. My 1st roommate from Taiwan has left because of culture shock. She’s a really nice girl & I miss her so much. Sobsob. And my current roommate from Malaysia has now decided to move out too. This’d happened because we had a “cold war” for almost a week due to some reasons. Although we’re still talking to each other & the fire between us was cease, but for some reason, the way that we’re treating each other was not the same anymore. There seems to be an invisible wall between both our hearts. But anyway, this might be a good decision or solution though. At least I’m losing only another roommate and not a friend. Anyway, that’s enough for my sad story and let me show you guys the happy moments that I’ve had here instead. ^_^

By the way, before I show you guys the pictures, there’s one more thing I wanna say. I just feel so lucky that today’s a rainy day & I’m actually working on my “split” (work from 8am-1.30pm then I’ll have a long break till 6pm & starts working again till closing). That’s why I’m now free to update my blog after 2 months (using my new laptop..finally..hehe). Basically if it’s raining, most of the rides would have to be close & what we can do are only cleaning the trains and platforms. Isn’t that awesome? Haha... Okla, I think I’d better stop writing rubbish and let the pictures tells you everything. ^_^

Time really flies... I can't believe that I'm actually leaving tomorrow!! How fast!! A bit excited and yet nervous... Plus, my parents are not around... sobsob... I think I've been a bit emo these few days... Dunno why... Maybe b'coz someone I care is going abroad soon... That's how feel every time, when someone I care is leaving... sigh...

Been hanging out with my friends the past few days, went out for dinner with my family & visited my grandmum as well... Loads of sweet and unforgettable memories... I was really happy that my grandmum is getting better now(not as healthy as last time though)... May god bless you always & stay healthy...

I really appreciates those who've hanged out with me, smsed me, emailed me, called me, and even gave me some lovely things(card, charm, little teddy) & etc... I won't named it just in case I forgotten someone... But you know who you are right... haha...

Here are 2 things that I wanted to do MOST but I didn't... >.<
1. Take pictures with my friends(especially those who're going abroad soon) & family... I'm gonna miss you all so much!!!
2.Watch the Pirates of the Caribbean 3!!! I missed the 2nd one & i missed this too!!! Damn it!!!

Yeah yeah!!! I've finally done my surveying project!!! And am officially free from any assignments and studies Loorrrrr!!! Wahahahahaahah... But guess what, you'll be surprise to see my physical look now... I'm BLACK(face and hands only)!!! Ai ya... It's too bad that i can't post up our group's photo now... One of the lecturers from the UK's campus is sooooOOOOoooo handsome, mature and man!!! Again, too bad you can see his handsome face now... kekeke...

After 1 whole week of field's work under the SUN , lacking of sleep and tonnes of task to be done, here's what I'm gonna say, "it's DAMN tiring but FUN!!!!" Some people might think that girls shouldn't have study Civil Engineering... But for me I'll say that, "the sense of success after all the hard work is priceless, you people should never ever underestimate girls' abilities, we can always do as good as or ever better than guys" ^_^

Now, it's time to get ready mentally and well prepared for the journey to USA!!! Will be getting real busy again for the summer's job and have real FUN too!!! That's all for today and stay tune to know what's coming up next!!! :p

Last Saturday was my elder sister's 21st birthday.. We had a small celebration for her with our family and cousins.. We fried some "keropok", prepared some "cincau" & fruits, and also bought some pizzas, roasted duck, and KFC for dinner.. My younger sis invited her friends too to celebrate her belated birthday which was fall on last Monday..

Happy Family!! Too bad my younger sis's friend weren't there as they had went back home..

The 13th of April was the night of glitz & glamour.. This was the 2nd time i attended in these kind of events.. To be frank, it was just a place for people to show off their nice gown & jewelry.. Lolz.. Not fun at all!! :( And also wasting money for nothing as the food was s!cks!! It was kinda boring sometimes but it was great though coz i've took tonnes of pictures with my friends.. ^_^
